Ordering & Shipping Information

If you possess a Federal Firearms License (FFL) we may ship your purchase directly to you. If you do not possess an FFL you must coordinate delivery through a federally licensed firearms dealer in your area. In either case, Cherry's must have a signed FFL on file before we can ship your gun. The only exceptions to this rule are firearms that are categorized by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (BATF) as curios and relics. This category includes any conventional firearms 50 years old or older, and any factory commemoratives approved by the BATF. These types of firearms may be shipped to anyone holding a valid Federal Collector's License (FCL), but as above, we must have a signed copy of the license on file before we can ship product. Also, any conventional firearm manufactured prior to 1899 may be shipped directly to the customer without any restrictions. Black Powder weapons may generally be shipped without any restrictions except in the state of New Jersey, where an FFL is required.

Cherry's makes every effort to ship your purchase as quickly as possible, usually the same day, providing payment has been made in full and all required paperwork is in order. In the event that we do not have an item in stock at the time you place an order with us, you will be advised as to when we expect delivery. All long guns, black powder arms and antique weapons are shipped via UPS Ground in the continental U.S. unless you request otherwise. All orders to Alaska and Hawaii are shipped via UPS 2nd Day Air. All advertised freight charges apply only to shipments made in the continental U.S. via UPS Ground.

NOTE: All firearms we sell come with a 3-day inspection period. This inspection period begins from the date the weapon is delivered to you OR your dealer. While we try to be as liberal as possible concerning returns, we cannot offer an extended inspection period. It is up to YOU to coordinate the pick-up of your purchase from your dealer in a timely fashion so that you have ample opportunity to inspect the item(s). In the event your state requires a waiting period before being able to take possession of your purchase, we recommend visiting your dealer as soon as possible after delivery to verify your purchase and inspect it. Layaways DO NOT qualify for the 3-day inspection.
